Early Childhood Teachers (Young Toddler through PreK-4)

 The Shlenker School is seeking qualified teachers to work with children ages 15 months through 5 years in our NAEYC accredited early childhood program. 

Required qualifications:

• Previous experience with young children in an early childhood setting. 
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and the application to the classroom and curriculum
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively communication with parents and families
• Technology proficient
• Candidates for PreK-4 must have a bachelor’s degree.

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience in an school accredited by the National Association of the Education for Young Children (NAEYC) is preferred.

Kindergarten Teacher

The Shlenker School is currently seeking a certified teacher for a 2010-2011 Kindergarten class beginning in August 2010. The ideal candidate will have experience in Kindergarten and/or other primary grades, be well-versed in classroom technology, and have familiarity with the Readers' & Writers' Workshop program.
